About 400 Harleys added to the vibrant sights and sounds on Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Friday evening. They came from far and wide for the H.O.G. Idaho Rally. H.O.G. stands for Harley Owners Group. Is Coeur d'Alene a great place to live, or what! (Ok, I know this is not being speechless, but for me it's pretty darn close!)
Hi Janna,
Looks like a wonderful time was had by all. Maybe I'll come and join you when I get my Harley!!
Steve
HI Janna - this does look like a really fun time. I am sure that everyone had a great time! Happy Labor day weekend.
I never knew what HOG stood for. Cool! It's amazing to me how Harleys have gone mainstream nowadays.
My people!!! This looks like the parking lot of the place we had lunch today!
Janna, so what does the Police Department do during this event? They go away? How do they control traffic as well as parking?
Endre - The city does an excellent job of traffic and crowd control for all the downtown events. Seems like there is something every weekend throughout the summer. Coeur d'Alene is a big tourist destination with world class events that frequently bring in many thousands of extra people. Just adds to the fun (as well as the economy)! Nothing unruly about the H.O.G.S!
That looks like a lot of fun! It's amazing they have these events nationwide it seems. Thank you for sharing!
