Newton NC 2010 Christmas for Kids Car Truck & Bike Show

The Knights of Columbus will hold their “Christmas for Kids” Car, Truck, & Bike Show this Saturday, October 9 in downtown Newton.

The show car entry fee is an unwrapped toy for a child.

Registration for the show will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with judging at 2:00 p.m. and award presentations at 3:00 p.m. All makes and models are welcome.

Downtown restaurants will be open, and the Knights of Columbus will also have a food tent.

Main Avenue and cross streets will be blocked from Edward Jones south to the Wachovia block from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday for parking of the show cars.

Music will be furnished by DJ Rich, and Elvis Tribute Artist 'Ed Smith' will appear. Door prizes and a 50/50 drawing are also planned.
