But Brokers make all the money!!!!!!
Those that can are Brokers. Those that are smart, let the Brokers do it and appreciate their efforts! HAHA
I have enough to do at the moment, would not want to be wearing your hat. Hope it all works out.
Hello Julie,
I was a broker's assistant for a few years before I studied for my license. I truly know what brokers have on their plate. "I have seen the boss' job...and I don't want it!" lol
I appreciate my broker! She has a lot on her plate and still makes the time to be there for my questions and for help.
Good luck to you with your new hat! I wish you all the best.
Julie.....it is truly a learning experience andyes we do learn to appreciate those we work for in the past. So many think it is a piece of cake when in fact it is a huge responsibility. Blessing to you my sister and if you need anything please don't hesitate to call.

Great post Julie. I think about all of that constantly. Wednesday marked the 1 year point of my startup, and while I do have corporate backing I have built this company from the ground up in San Diego and poured my heart and soul into it. The main thing is recruiting. You have to get enough of the right agents on board and focus on supporting their efforts. The one thing I have done really well throughout my management career is to surround myself with people that are really good at things I'm not. Set the expectation with them and then get out of their way and let them do their job. Hard to do that sometimes when you are so invested in the process and company. And remember, we are called BROKERS because we are BROKER then everyone else!!! Good luck to you!
So Julie, how is your new company coming along. Suzi Gravenstuk pointed me to your blog post 'cause I'm planning to go out on my own as well.
