When looking for a Realtor, they are all a local business. Yes, several are associated with a regional or national name, but each individual Realtor is a local business. For this reason I focus my efforts on a specific suburb of the Salt Lake Regional area known as Draper, Utah.
That is also why I try to support local business in the when I need goods and services. It is good to know that we are surrounded by local business everywhere. A good way to find out who local business's are there are groups that help support local business, here we have a group called Locals First.
Locals First sometimes will recognize local business as well. They recently recognized a store call Your Planet located at the Salt Lake International Airport. A store owned by Air Terminal Gifts, a local business. Why do I point this out, well it's to recognize the fact that we are surrounded by business's that are locally owned, even at an Airport.
Be sure to get to know the owners of some of these local business owners they can be a good source for referrals and they always appreciate the support by other local business.
