At the Jersey Shore with all of the vacation rental properties that have high traffic and volume, carpets take a beating. With that said finding a good carpet repairer is hard. How many times do homeowners replace good carpets because of a burn in the middle of the living room ? Too often I hear.
Well I meet a great carpet guy a few months ago, Ken Discount, reliable, honest and a pure artist. For sure he's not the cheapest but he will save you lot's of money in the long run. I really never thought too much about repairing carpets. I generally sent my clients to the local carpet store or Home Depot.
Kenny can match the patterns and you wouldn't even know anything was fixed. So now I have a new special vendor I will use when those awful calls come in that the carpets were burned or stained.
