My cell phone rang yesterday as I was getting ready to show Lake Livingston property and it was an articulate gentleman calling from Baghdad, Iraq in the Green Zone.
My first reaction when I heard Baghdad, Iraq was "aw -oh" I do not want your rich Uncle's funds placed in my bank account!
But then what a surprise. It was a true Gentleman calling ME from Iraq! As it turned out he had been watching and reading my posts on Active Rain for the last couple of years and is interested in purchasing a property in one of my area subdivisions. It seems that he already owns a property there and wants to buy the one sitting next to it.
As we visited I learned that he had been there for seven years now working with a large company and is thinking of retiring in one of my favorite subdivisions. We instantly became friends and I will be able to help him move our direction!
