R.I. House Passes "Road Test" Bill
The Rhode Island House of Representatives passed a bill that would allow the Department of Motor Vehicles to require certain drivers to take a road test before they are issued a new license. The bill aims specifically at drivers who may be unqualified to drive. Current law allows drivers to renew their licenses by taking a written exam only.
