So, we have hit the bottom.... Is UP the only way to go from here?

So, I was at a local meeting at the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce, and we talked taxes....property taxes.  Most cities and towns are now grappling with what their property tax rates are going to be for the next year, and to do this they have to take a look at property values...and what I am hearing is that property values for the last year have remained flat......  WELL THAT IS A RELIEF, at least the continual decline has stopped....

BUT, does this mean that we may actually see prices start to rise in 2011???  Well, my crystal ball is broken these days, so I can't venture a guess, but anyone thinking of buying a home now should really use today's low values AND low interest rates to make a move....  If things do turn around next year, then we will not see these market conditions that are so favorable to buyers again for a long time....
