There is something about the sun that just makes me feel alive. Haven't you noticed why it seems that every time we lie down on the beach or stroll around the park in the noonday sun.- We just feel a lot better. Try it. When you feel exhausted or overwhelmed with the everyday happenings. Go outside. Be quiet. Lie down on the grass. See if it changes anything.
I was in Northern California last week. Had so much fun. But after 3 days the Cloudy skies began to take its toll on me. Maybe I missed my Reno Sky.
Reno averages 300 sunny days a year. But unlike Las Vegas, Reno's hot weather is much more bearable. Plus, Lake Tahoe is just around the corner if you do feel like its getting too hot.
With 300 sunny days, Reno may just be the perfect summer getaway in North America. It has been called, " America's adventure place". The local government has been actively renovating the image of Reno from being ' The little Vegas of North America' To 'America's Adventure Place' and believe me they are serious about making this happen.
They have rejuvenated Downtown Reno to be more family-oriented rather than 'just the casinos'. They have made it possible for people to stroll along Truckee river,kayak,mt. bike, and eat at your favorite Eat-all-you can Buffet all in one corner,literally.
With 300 days of sunshine. It just might mean 300 days of eternal bliss.
