As real estate professionals, we are often asked questions that we cannot answer. At least, we can't give the answer that prospects or clients are seeking. Will prices drop? The only correct answer is that we don't know. We can give educated guesses about trends and their continuation, but we know that we don't know. Same goes for interest rates, the economy, etc.
I have made predictions in the past, and they have almost always been wrong. I said that Mike Ditka would be the next Vikings coach ( actually I made that one a couple times), Obama's health insurance bill would never pass, Apple was a dead company and had no chance of returning to their leadership status of the eighties, to name a few of my poor predictions.
It's time that the tide of my missed predictions begin to turn. So, I am predicting that the Twin Cities will have a white Christmas this year. This stuff isn't going anywhere, and there's lots more on its way.
