Tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Herndon High School, a fierce local rivalry continues as the Herndon and South Lakes Boys Basketball teams compete in the Northern Region Tournament.
Herndon is well positioned having beat a tough Chantilly team on Friday night to win the Concorde District Tournament, Round 3 of Chantilly vs. Herndon goes to the Hornets.
South Lakes had a great season going into the Liberty District Tournament, but were beaten by the Langley Saxons, who won the Libety District Tournament.
The game tonight is both for bragging rights and a chance to continue on to the Northern Region Semi-Final.
The winner of tonight's game continues on to the semi-final game which will be played on Saturday, February 26 at Robinson High School (time TBD).
The Northern Region Tournament Final game will be played Monday February 28 at Robinson High School at 8:00 p.m.

ORCHESTRA AND BASKETBALL
Wednesday, February 23rd, will be a busy night at Herndon HS. We have an orchestra concert in the auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm, and a basketball game starting at 7:30 pm in the main gym. We are asking that everyone attending the orchestra event enter through door 5 and park on the west side of the building by doors 3 and 4. We ask that those attending the basketball game enter through door 6 and 10. Please do not park on the west side of the school out of respect for the orchestra attendees.
