How to find out which Pennsylvania Schools Rank the Best and will meet the needs of your family!

If you have children and are planning on moving to or within the Lehigh Valley then you may find yourself asking this very question, what are the best schools in the Lehigh Valley? Is it Easton, Nazareth, Bangor, East Penn or Bethlehem? Good question! After all,  when you buy a home, you buy a school district too.

Realtors are not allowed to dish out opinions on what the best schools are, its called Steering. Besides what would be best for one family may not always meet the needs of another. What we can do to help you find the best schools for your family in the Lehigh Valley is provide tools and information so you can gather data and make informed decisions.

There are a few school districts that get requested often by our home buyers in the Lehigh Valley - The most requested are Nazareth School District, East Penn School District, Parkland School District and Bethlehem School District.

The chart below is an example of some of the local School District stats. I searched and compared the following schools.

  • Bethlehem School District
  • East penn School District
  • Easton Area School District
  • Nazareth Area School District
  • Parkland School District

Just click the chart below to compare these school districts using Schoolmatters.com (Its a free website, and my favorite school search site). You can compare up to five school districts from the Lehigh Valley by clicking the image below.

Below you will find more online website links and tools to help in your efforts to research Lehigh Valley Schools.

Easton Bethlehem Nazareth School Information

If your looking for information on a specific school you might contact the school directly and request to attend a school event or take a tour. This seems to work especially well for those moving with teenagers or those entering High School, especially when students have particular extraciricular interests.

We would be happy to set up a search for you from our MLS which searches for homes in particular school districts. This can save lots of time and can really zone in on what your looking for in a home. Keep us posted on your needs.

I read a few times about how Realtors cannot provide specific school info - due to steering issues.

(There was a long blog about it a year ago... I can't find it).

Just a question - does this in YOUR OPINION violate those 'rules'? As a Title guy, I'm always trying to understand the Realtor and Mortgage professionals industry.
