Take your Realtor to Lunch - you never know where that may lead.

I had a Roofing specialist who has been after me to - listen to his pitch.

I'm approached by Stagers , Electricians, Plumbers, Framers, Cleaning companies, Landscape companies, Title companies....and the list goes on and on. They all want a few minutes of my time, I'll buy you lunch...is often the come on. I usually eat lunch at my desk, when I'm here I'm working, but take me golfing or skiing and you have a deal. No one has to buy me a ticket or pay for a round of golf...I have my own pass -and -memberships thank you. I can't be bought, but I can be entertained and I enjoy my sports as much as any other Property Professional I have ever met.

*While you were at your desk today, I took an hour off for lunch. I didn't actually eat, but I left the office*

Want to talk about staging a listings, or being considered as a subcontractor on a job you'll have to keep up.

....Or talk fast while we're on the lift enjoying the view....

I had a can of Microwaved soup and a yogurt at my desk for lunch...but the hour away from the office was very nice. I know so many of you are ready for the warmer days of spring, but we;ll be skiing until Easter weekend in New Hampshire. The Blue sky days of March with over a 100 inches of snow this winter will make for some of the best spring skiing in years. Here are some of the slope side properties we a building and selling:

With all the rain we have been getting...I really have to get out on these blue sky days even if it's just for an hour...hey Season passes aren't cheep.

The view from Loon's North Peak Chair....man, It was hard to leave.

Thanks Kerrie, When you sell property in a ski resort town, you have to go skiing once in a while. If you don't ski - it would be like living on an island and not knowing how to swim.

Richard...This is a mental health break, I don't do Yoga or deep breathing exercises...but I can get to the bottom of a snow covered hill with anyone that wants to join me.

Steve, that is part of the reason I do a lot of fishing and hunting. I like to check out the different areas and how well the fare is for each. When a client asks...I can answer honestly and intelligently.

That's a Helluva lunch break, very jealous. I took my clients to lunch after closing today. It was a fun lunch.

We recommend vendors, but we don't get anything from it except the satisfaction of sharing folks WE choose to share because they do a good job.

Michelle, I feel as though I can recommend folks that have done a good job in the past, and I never feel I owe someone a pass. that is why I use my own pass and don't take gifts from possible vendors.

I'm with you Steve - Skiing is my passion and I'd skip lunch, shopping and most other things to hit the slopes! Just got back from Stowe and the skiing was amazing! Golf - not so much - lol!

Kristine, looks like the coverage is still deep in Vermont as well...It's been snowing here all day. We have a St. Paddy's day race-fundraiser for a local children's center tomorrow and the fresh stuff will be great.
