Blogging with writers block

I haven't posted for a while.  Been a little busy.  Set up a private blog for Brokerage owners.  Found a new office and have been very involved in planning the move.  Recruited 2 agents, and I'm talking to 3 more.

With all that going on, you would think I'd have a bunch of subjects ready to burst.  I did lots of thinking while writing my other posts.  Came to many solutions, found new paths.  Had comments that opened my eyes.  And tonight, I sit here writing about, Nothing.

One thing happened this week, I applied to Allen - I want to be a Cyberstar.  Thanks to a webinar Allen hosted, I found Ring Central.  Tremendous product, I'm trying to conker VOIP  using a Verizon Wireless card.  Yet another project.

Another cool thing, in setting up my conference room, I found Valcom amplified speakers that drop in a 2x2 suspended ceiling http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=V-9022-DT&cat=SPK.  Line output from a computer sound card.  What they don't tell you, have to get a transformer too.  Still, completely hidden speakers, good volume, and line input.  Great stuff.

So why do I feel a block?  Nothing profound to say, and I've been busy.  Oh yeah, found another cool item.  I don't like the color of the cloth in my office cubicles.  Found some Upholstry paint that works GREAT on fabric, http://www.fabricspraypaint.com/ is the maker.  I found a can at Hobby Lobby to try.  Worked great, but I'm not brave enough to try a couch.

so much for tonight.  Let's hope tomorrow, my ramblings will stop, and my Real Estate brain will start again...

Blogging doesn't mean you have to be profound.  Sometimes it's nice to know that someone else is having a "regular" day!  Besides, for having nothing to say, you sure said a lot!

Congrats on setting up a new office and blog group.

Greg - glad to see you're back!  The fabric paint sounds interesting - I'll have to look into that.  I'd love to see some pics if you have any.

OK - Looking for some blog fodder???  I've been trying to convince someone with technical knowledge to write a blog about The Long Tail.  If someone does not take it on soon I may be forced to do it myself and it will not be pretty because SEO and that kind of stuff is not my specialty.  Are you up for a challenge?  I can pretty much guarantee you a star in the blogging and seo group.  I know the mods there. ;)

Thanks Nancy.  I think you are correct, ramblings sometimes produces little - much needed - tidbits.  Deborah, I agree.  Just writing off the cuff works for me, I just hope others don't think it's too boring.

Maureen, glad to be back.  I've tried 1 test with the fabric paint friday (fire engine red), takes 72 hours to cure, tho dry to touch in 2 hours.  I'll send a picture.  As for the Long Tail, I first heard of it, today!!!  I'd be a bad one to write about it.  The little research I just did tells me, I'd need a lot of research to START understanding...
