I am, Becky S. Burghart, a full service real estate professional associated with locally owned Topeka brokerage service. I have lived in the Topeka area all my life. As a Real Estate Salesperson, I am considered an independent contractor working for myself. I am an agent with an impeccable work ethic and I remain on target to sell more homes than most real estate agents in the Topeka area. I am a member of the Topeak Area Association of Realtors (TAAR) and MLS board. I serve at the pleasure of my fellow real estate agents as a member of the Grievance Committee (who follow up on real estate complaints) and I am a prior Director for the Topeka Area Association of Realtors - Board of Directors & MLS Board of Directors and a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR.)
I was educated in Shawnee Heights School district K-12 and attended Washburn University while working for the State of Kansas Full-time. I am a prior business owner and served the State of Kansas in a number of employment positions. I also went above and beyond by serving at the pleasure of the Governor on various committees to enhance the health and wellness of state employees and benefit packages, the state collection system and various other committees.
On a personal note, I am married, the mother of 3 children, and the daughter to elderly parents. I enjoy trying to balance family, religion, health, community and my job. I am involved in community activities sponsoring various school activities, children programs, Housing and Credit Counselling of Topeka and the United Way. I enjoy serving as Chairperson for a National professional women's group and various activities through my Church.
