BofA foreclosure recissions

Wow, just checked the recontrust.com website for foreclosures in Deschutes County and there are none!  Just a few weeks ago there were at least 500.  Wondering if banks are actually trying to manipulate sales by lowering foreclosure inventory in this move?  I wouldn't put it beyond them as they have the power to mess things up for us to pursue their own interests.  The implications for the market are horrible if they suddenly dump them back as well.  Wonder how long until they do that.  I am watching this one.

Here is a clip and paste from their website for Oregon properties set up for trustee sale:

County Number of Properties
Clackamas  2
Multnomah  2
Washington  3
Klamath  1
Marion  1
Polk  1
Linn  1

Interesting!

I think it is more to do with the court cases in Oregon finding that MERS does not have the authority to foreclose non-judicially.  Most, if not all of the BofA mortgages are recorded through MERS.   It seems that all of these foreclosure cancellations are so they can regroup and figure out what their next step is.   That step may be having to go through the courts to foreclose which is going to be an expensive, drawn out process.    This will probably extend the foreclosure debacle in Deschutes county for a year longer than before - which was already going to continue for a couple years.

Yes, I agree and reported this as such-see prior posts, but got to thinking of wider implications and ramifications of this move.  Things look very ugly for quite a while longer in my opinion.  Who is this?  Why don't you use your real name?

Profit from my two decades of experience

Maria-that's a hard to figure out, that's a ton of inventory. I remember when the building phase was ramping up, time to hang on. Best.
