Whether or not we have had a fruitful year of real estate blessings, or have prospered in other phases of this industry, I believe it would be safe to say we are all very blessed in many ways. It's an amazing campaign called "Miles for Smiles", that works in conjunction with the Make A Wish Foundation.
It is an effort to help raise airline miles for travel wishes to be granted to children with life threatening illnesses. Every year, more than 67% of the children's wishes are to travel, and thus the Make A Wish Foundation needs to raise over 2.5 billion miles in order to grant these wishes to the children and their immediate families.
They are tying to reach their airline miles goal before the end of the year, and as you can see they are going to need all the help they can get. There is no cost for you to donate miles, yet the benefits are immense. With our help and contributions, we can make a tremendous difference in the lives of these children.

Miles for Smiles Campaign ‘07
Miles for Smiles, is a campaign that works in conjunction with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® , and is aimed at raising airline miles to help grant travel wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. There are many children with life-threatening medical conditions that have wishes and dreams that they would love to have realized during their lifetimes. Due to the high cost of medical care that many of the families of these children have to endure, it may be difficult for these families to grant their children their wishes, especially if it involves travel. If contributions aren't made, their wishes may not be fulfilled during their lifetime.
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities. A wish experience is frequently a source of inspiration for children undergoing difficult medical treatments and a positive force that helps them overcome their obstacles. A wish experience is often more than a dream come true: It's the catalyst that rekindles their belief in themselves and the promise of their future.
Make-A-Wishâ volunteers and professionals are often asked the same question: "How can you afford to send so many children and families around the world?" The answer is elegantly simple. It is because of the generosity of our airline partners and their members. Each of the following airline partners offers programs for members to donate miles to the Make-A-Wish Foundation:

Make-A-Wish Foundation estimates that to fulfill each travel wish, and include each wish child's immediate family in the wish experience, they will need more than 2.5 billion frequent flier miles this year.
"I wish to sleep on a hammock between two palm trees on the beach in Hawaii." "I wish to go to Antarctica." "I wish to go see gymnastics at the Olympics." These are but a few of the gems, children with life-threatening medical conditions selected when provided an opportunity to create a wish experience with the Make-A-Wish Foundationâ. This past year, more than 67 percent of wish children chose to travel.

By donating our airline miles through Miles for Smiles, benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation® , we have the opportunity to show our care, generosity, inspiration, and support to these children and their families. We have the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life as well as our own.
