March 23 was the 68th birthday for rock music great Sly Stone. The event was celebrated at Seattle's Northwest Film Forum with a 77 minute film documentary about Sly Stone, truly one of the great music innovators of the last 50 years.
The Northwest Film Forum is a tremendous venue to view a rich list of documentaries such as Nostalgia for Light-veteran Chilean director Patricio Guzman's portrayal of the harsh brutality of the Pinochet regime.
May 8 come celebrate Mother's Day with a look back at six year's worth of award winning Children's Film Feasible Seattle.
