Winter in Amherst, NH REALLY wants to stick around.

I was just calling it a night when I was struck by how much snow is falling outside my window. The forecast now says we are in the 12" zone and the worst is yet to arrive. Really?? So, maybe in Amherst, NH, April Snow Showers Bring May Flowers.

Stowe Meadows - Spring Flowers

If we really do have a fresh 12" on the ground when I wake up, I'll post pictures. On the bright side, we'll have more amazing Spring skiing. Come see us!

PS- School has been cancelled for tomorrow! But the end of the school year may now be July 1st. LOL

We are with you on this one! The driveway was almost clear yesterday and then we woke up to ssssnow again. It is our 15th anniversary and my mum called to ask if we were going sledding and then giggled. Crazy!

Cheryl, I know that when the rain starts, I'll wish for snow. ha But, we have to have the rain to "power" those Spring flowers.

Hey Maria, You're right! The Spring skiing is fantastic! We have to embrace the positive!

Larry & Jacque and David - the driveway was clear just yesterday! argh. But these last breaths of winter melt quickly. I think that most of the plowing folks had taken the plows off of their trucks already! Poor them!
