A Strong Marketing Plan Helps Get Your Home SOLD!

By
Real Estate Agent with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate - Rand Realty
It's rare that simply placing a "For Sale" sign on the front lawn creates a line of traffic filled with potential buyers. The key to reaching the most buyers is a strong marketing plan. Generally there are two audiences you are trying to reach-homebuyers specifically and real estate professionals who may have buyers looking for a home like yours.  Make sure your plan includes steps on how to target each audience.  Include a variety of activities. Using only conventional strategies such as open houses and newspaper ads can limit your outreach. As most buyers now begin their home search online, having a strong presence on all the websites buyers use to search for homes is vital and gives your home worldwide exposure. A photo marketing campaign should be included in your plan allowing buyers to get a sneak peek of your home's features. Your marketing plan should include checkpoints at various intervals to review activity on you home and to determine if changes need to be made. An effective marketing plan will give your home maximum exposure and increase your chances of a profitable sale.

Yes, where are the buyers? Still fence sitting? According to Bankrate.com. I don't see a change in mortgage interest rates.
