10th Annual 2011 Simply Bassing Surf Tournament

The 10th annual Simply Bassing Surf Tournament, opening up this Saturday, May 7. Running to June 26, this tournament is conducted by several of the bait and tackle shops on Long Beach Island.

Open only to LBI shore-based anglers, cash prizes are awarded to the top eight fish of the tournament. There is a $20 registration fee, which can be handed in at most island shops. Eight weeks of stripper fishing competition: Last year's 1st place finisher won $1,000.00

Register for the 10th Annual 2011 Simply Bassing Surf Tournament ($20, runs from May 7 to June 26, 2011) and also Sign Up for the Fisherman's Headquarters Spring Striper Side-Bet! The two tournaments run concurrently.

The Side-Bet (100% Pay Out) is offered by Fisherman's Headquarters between competing Simply Bassing Anglers! It is Fisherman's Headquarters goal to raise the level of competition. The Striper Side-Bet is to motivate anglers to fish hard!

 All Simply Bassing rules & regulations apply as well as the following "Side-Bet" Particulars:

· The FHQ "Side-Bet" is open to all Simply Bassing registrants regardless of where they register for the Simply Bassing Tournament. Yes, you need to register in the Simply Bassing in order to qualify for the "Side-Bet" registration.

· Minors (under age 18) can sign up; however, a cash prize won by a minor will be awarded to the minor's parent or legal guardian.

· Anglers in the "Side-Bet" must register before catching an eligible fish.

· FHQ weigh master reserves the right to inspect or reject any fish deemed to be questionable.
