What do you do on those mornings where you just want to go back to sleep?

If you read my last blog post you know that I went to Jake and Al's and had some of their great wings.  What you might not know is that for hours upon hours I had friends come up and talk with me.  Happy Hour turned into Happy Night and we left (safely of course) under our own power after catching up on lost time.

So even though I had a great time last night, I find myself tired this morning.  I sit here with a full breakfast in my belly and a warm cup of coffee in my hand wondering how others wake up.

Now don't get me wrong.  I'm happy and I'm excited for my morning phone calls.  I'm looking forward to an amazing amount of progress today.  But that bed is just calling my name.  (And the overcast skys don't help either.)

Today's Schedule:

1.  Check in on Active Rain

2.  Post today's video deal

3.  Follow-up on outstanding client needs, submit contracts and touch base with office mates

4.  Call new Leads

5.  Get Liquor License for upcoming summer concert (more on that one later).

6.  Feed my kids lots of love, food, cheer and tuck their spoiled little butts in bed.

All in all its going to be a fun day.

So leave a comment and tell me how you wake up!

One of the perks of not being part of corporate America: You can just go back to sleep.

I don't have much choice. I have to get up. I have a teenage daughter that couldn't get out the door for school if I wasn't here to push her along. I really look forward to vacation time and that extra hour of sleep. Only two more weeks until summer vacation.

Joe: I'm with you brother.

Dave: I'll sleep when I'm dead, I've got fun things to do today!

Deborah: I always wake up quick, get moving and rarely take naps... still tired today!

Debbie: Luckily the older girls have moved out and I don't need to chase them to school anymore.

Tim: Being the boss also means you take out the trash and wash the dishes ;-)  I wouldn't change it though.

Steve,

I wake up, shower, breakfast and walk the mile and a half to work (except on stormy days).  By the time I get to work, I'm refreshed and ready to go....

Just don't ask me why I have that soft, comfortable couch in my office...or that pillow next to it against the wall....  lol
