So, the other day I went to a listing presentation and prepared myself really well...
With not a lack of confidence I started talking about the comps and necessary marketing in the order to sell my client's house. Of course staging and some minor cleaning to make house inviting and ready for sale was something that I always mentioning towards the end of a listing presentation!
In the middle of conversation and detailed presentation I was asked, or should I say, told... some very practical fact...
Well, since my client was Asian heritage, and he had a hard time expressing himself on English...he struck me all of a sudden with a question which was something like this:
"You know, I have sometimes problem understanding you, since my English is not that good, and you probably have the same problem because I talk and pronounce English words differently...so what we can do about it, because I'm a bit concern?! - said my client.
After a surprise question and very quick thinking my hand went instantly towards my cell phone and with enthusiasm and great amount of optimism I said to him:
"I think that we can overcome that problem with a little help of my iphone app and use of itranslate app that would translate and convert English into your language! - I said.
After a simple demonstration, my client was impressed and very pleased...just to see the smile on his face was well worth it.
Needless to say, I was pleased as well........
Got the listing and currently finalizing to put on the market...
Gotta love the smartphones and apps we can use!!!
