That One Special Thing You Do...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Brooks Prime Properties Wichita Falls Texas

That One Special Thing You Do...Will help you to stand out in a crowd. Each and every day I look for a way to Pay It Forward in one way or another. Even if it is a matter of standing for a longer wait at a door to help an elderly person enter a building. I hope someone will do that for me one day.

I just heard in the background of my living room "white TV noise", a statement coming from an actress saying, "I am so tired of being positive". Wow. I don't want to be that way. I want to continue with passion even if each day is more and more difficult. I want to be able to wake up in the mornings and KNOW that I am so glad to be here. I want to pray and say, "Thank You" to God and pay it forward to HIM. Deb's One Of a Kind in Lake Conroe

Continuing to remain "positive" through adversity, moment to moment, is special.

It is special for you and for others. Smiles beget smiles and positive attitudes build hope for those around you.

Be a one of a kind individual.

Stand out in a crowd.

I totally agree Deb!  It's not what happens to us that's so important... it's how we respond to the stuff that happens to us... especially when we're down.  Character shines, not when things are going great... but when the poop hits the fan... that's when character rises to the occasion.  This life was meant to shine!

What a terrific sentiment, Deb.  My 90 year old mother lives with us.  Sometimes she drives me . . . to the edge ;)  And constantly I think - I hope I'm half as good as she is when I'm 90.  But what strikes me the most is knowing that I have 5 daughters who are going to feel the same way when I'm 90, and how do I want to be treated?  It constantly directs how I respond . . . thanks for this ray of sunshine ;)

Deb, that is so awesome--you are living out the "do unto others" and thanks for the reminder that we are blessed beyond belief (every reason to be +) by the One who had all our days ordained before there was even one !
