Today I saw this dragonfly basking in the sun and I could not leave it alone. I did not have my camera, how did that happen?
However I did have my cellphone and it suddenly hit me; I did have a camera so I took a couple shots. When I placed the camera almost on its head it flew away. I would be annoyed too :)
Jennifer, I almost always forget to think of my cell phone as a camera and am usually so satisfied with the way the photo turns out. I had a similar encounter to yours today with a bee...unfortunately no camera or phone!

Mona I do it all the time, I still don't connect the phone with taking photos. I hope you will get another opportunity to get a shot.

Wow, Jennifer, that is one of the clearest shots I've seen from a cell phone. I'll really have to try to figure out how to take photos from mine and check it out, LOL.

Jennifer that is a pretty good picture for a camera phone. I am surprised that he let you get that close.
I dont know what I would do w/o my Blackberry... most of my pics are taken with my phone...
I love taking pictures of insects. The bees in Colorado are translucent. I can't get a good shot. Thanks for sharing yours with us!
Hi Jennifer--Thanks for the glimpse of nature--I'm surprised that you haven't posted any photos of the Dutchess Fair. I try to stay on the other side of the river during the fair to avoid the traffic--but would love to see photos!
