Being an expert on our local real estate market has in part to do with looking at the bigger picture. Some of the basic things I like to track are the following:
What has happened to the months of inventory (time it would take to sell existing homes on the market)?
How does the number of homes listed compare to the number of homes sold in Albany over the last year?
What was the number of days on market or days it took for a listed home to sell in our area?
