Located not far from Bryson City, Fontana Lake is the largest lake in Western North Carolina. The lake covers two counties...Swain and Graham. It is also the only access point for some remote areas of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Fontana Lake is very popular with boaters of all kinds plus considered some of the finest waters for small mouth bass fishing.

Selling real estate in the mountains of Western North Carolina can be a real pleasure. This shot was taken while showing a house in Fontana Lakes Estates. Combining lake, forests and mountains - it just doesn't get much better!

Hello Lisa, I shot that photo on Sunday. Since then we've had the rains from tropical storm Lee and everything is much lusher now.

Hi Tammy, you know? some of the leaves have started to change -not many, but there is starting to be some yellows peeking out. I'll try to not disappoint you and will force myself to look at those views and get those photos lol.

Hello Mary, I'd sit with you! The house needed some work, but the view was perfect.

Hi Bruce, some parts of Cullowhee are pretty steep. This view was about an hour west of Cullowhee. Now all we need to do is find someone from W Lafayette wanting to move here! Could be a little referral thing going, what do you say?

Hi Kevin, I used to co-own a camping and backpacking shop. If you are stumbling...you need better footwear! Sounds like you are pretty familiar with this area and there just isn't any better place for hiking.
