Where Do Realtors Find Clients?
Most buyers and sellers believe Realtors sit in the office and wait for the phone to ring. That is a HUGE miss perception. Successful Realtors go out and look for business. One of the ways to do that is to participate in events within the community.
I recently participate in the 2nd Annual Prince William Financial Fair that was hosted by Glenn Moore, Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial. It was held at the Continental Event Center on Liberia Ave in Manassas
The event attracted a variety of people wanting more information on one or more of the topic's planned for the evening. The host Glenn Moore’s entertained the crowd with his Classical and Popular Piano Selection Performance.
Topic's for the evening included:
- Securing Your Retirement, by Anne-Marie Laboe, VP BlackRock
- Investment Themes for 2011, by Traci Simons, Regionial VP, Fidelity
- Investments Learning from the Lesson of Time, by Erik Kruk, VP, Legg Mason
- How Men & Women Differ About Money, by Emily Dupre, Regional Manager MFS Investment Management
In between each topic the crowd had a chance to visit the trade show booths and pick up information on Ameriprise Financial, Real Estate, Health Insurance, Auto Insurance, Mortgages & Cruises, while enjoying the buffet specialties prepared by Chef George Richa of Old Town Caterers.
It was a great evening and I was glad to be part of a fun event while looking for new clients.
