Do you want a day in the country with the kids? Come to Country Apple Orchard for the Harvest Festival on October 1-2, 2011. There will be horse drawn hayrides, pony rides and train rides. There will also be an inflatable playground for the kids to play in! Come and visit the animals in the petting zoo and meet Sneakers the live scarecrow.
There are also pumpkins and apples for the picking. Or if you prefer you can always buy pre-picked. With thirteen different varieties of apples and almost 6,000 trees there are plenty of apples for everyone. There is also 7 acres of pumpkins to pick from as well. Also on site is a gift shop, which also sells baked goods. Fall hours are Monday-Friday 10-6, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 12-5.
