For more than 100 years, the State Fair of Texas has been a major source of entertainment for millions, as well as a powerful factor in the growth of Dallas.

The State Fair will open daily. Buildings open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Closing is at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Museum hours vary and Midway hours vary. The grounds open as early as 7 a.m.

Parking on official Fair lots: $15 per space

The State Fair of Texas is proud to announce that Kroger is the retail ticket outlet for general admission tickets ($14.50), season pass ($29.95 includes one buddy pass - good for one visit any Monday-Friday only - and one Cinemark movie pass valid Sun-Thur only expires Oct. 31) and the DART Combo ticket ($17). Tickets on sale now.

GATES OPEN SEPTEMBER 30.

Self parking is available on official State Fair lots for $15 per space. Look for "Official State Fair Parking" signs.

Valet parking offered for $30.00 at Grand Avenue (daily) and Haskell/Parry (Saturdays/Sundays only).

Spaces marked for the disabled are located in each lot. First come, first serve. If spaces are filled, an attendant will direct you to the next available spaces. The parking fee applies.

Overnight RV parking is only available during the weekend of the Red River Rivalry (Oct. 8, 2011).
