Good news for Staten Islanders, Trader Joe's to open Friday 7 Oct 2011
At the old Ford dealership on Richmond Avenue. If you've never been to one of their stores, you are in for a treat. My wife and I used to go to Westfield, N.J., now we won't have to make the trip or pay the outrageous bridge toll.

The customers in Trader Joe's always seem happy to be there. As we all eat at home more, creating a wonderful meal to share with family and friends can mean creating an experience. Good food, attractively presented makes dinner a dining experience.
Been hearing about this company and that we in the Dallas area can expect their stores here very soon.
Congrats on the Trader Joe's. The closest one to me is in New Jersey. I have never been to one but I hear it is a great store.
Never heard of this chain before. I checked out the article and it sounds like an interesting place to visit. I think we had a Trader Jon's...but that was a bar on the beach!
