Every day I enter the subdivision of Quail Creek and pass by this adorable home on the corner lot, and can not believe it has not yet been snatched up.  In fact, I just moved back to Mckinney myself.  I didn't realize how much I had missed driving through the tree-lined streets of Lake Forest and those of Quail Creek.  Seeing the rolling golf-course and the man-made lakes and water views somehow seems more peaceful driving home at the end of the day (opposed to just staring at the bumber in front of you or endless traffic). I didn't realize how much I had missed TREES and an actual smooth traffic flow.  The neighbors are extremely friendly and even had one knock on my door to welcome me with a glass of cabernet in hand after seeing my moving truck.  It's definitely a dog-friendly community and often see people walking their dogs in the afternoon.  I love the fact that everyone decorates for the holidays (though I still have yet to put mine out!) and seasons and really "gets in the spirit".  The schools are ALL exemplary-rated, and blue-ribbon winners: Glen Oaks Elementary, Dowell Middle School, and the new Boyd High School, which stretches the length of the street.  If you have ever tried to find a home in this school zone, you know it's no easy feat, as they seem to move as soon as they are listed!  All schools are within walking distance.  Of course, it doesn't hurt to be directly across from a gated community on the opposite side of Quail Ridge with homes in the million-dollar range ;-)

This particular home is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, listed by Paul Powell of Keller Williams and is for sale for $168,000.  It has a beautiful deck area and is in a partial cul-de-sac.

This home is 2246 SF, a three-bedroom, 2-bath and has many, many upgrades such as the hardwood flooringg and granite countertops.  It is very well-designed and shows like a model home.  Best of all, it backs to the creek ;-)  This home is listed at $189,900.
