Dear readers,

College Station and Bryan are fortunate to be the home of the George Bush Library and Museum. The Bush's love Texas A&M and spend a lot of time here.

Some have wondered recently about his health. I am happy to say that I saw him last Friday, and he is looking and sounding good. He was in College Station to present the George Bush Awardfor Excellence in Public Service to former Texas A&M President Bob Gates (see my blog from last week).

During his remarks, the elder Bush was witty and on the mark, and it was great to see Barbara was by his side.

I wish them many more years here in Aggieland.
