I know you are busy, but my time is valuable too.

There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for call backs or email replies.

To work on a smooth, successful transaction we need to work together. We: meaning everybody on the “team”. Including the sellers, the buyers and especially their professionals involved: their Realtors, the lender, the escrow officer.

If there is a weak link, if it takes forever for a response it can not only be frustrating, but can also destroy a transaction.

Even if you do not have the answer, a quick update will help. A quick call, text or email saying “working on it”, “got your message” or “thank you” will let the others know that they are not forgotten.

Just respond! Show respect to the others and their time. Show your professionalism!

It only takes a moment and can make all the difference!

I try to be very responsive and return calls quiclkly and it is frustrating when others don't bother.  I wonder if they realize that they are making that their reputation as well?

Judit, this is very true.  Not all agents are as responsible and tedious as you.  This is a great quality and others should learn from your professionalism.  When doing a short sale transaction, communication by ALL parties is key.  Keep doing a great job and keep your standards high.  Steven C.

Definitely Nancy! The good news is that when I come accross with an agent I had good experience with I already look forward to a smooth deal. Reputation can be good too. :)

Thanks Steve!
