Most realtors report that activity is quite light, buyers are more scarce and prices have gone down over the last few months. Homes under $400,000 are selling quite well, as they seem to always do. Above $400,000 is slower but that also reflects the season, as more of the larger family homes sell in the spring than in the fall. This also changes the numbers a bit. All that being said, if you are in the market, the prices are great, rates are low and there is some good inventory to choose from, so yes it is a good time to buy!
