MeetUps and Holiday Cheer
Okay folks, I know you've been good and thinking we need to get together again! So, don't be naughty and skip your holiday meetup. I'm working on plans for San Antonio and will make an official announcement soon. In the mean time, be prepared to block out some time for fun and festivities in the rain.
Sincerely,
Cathy Bureau
It's the most wonderful time of year! Break out the eggnog, wear your favorite reindeer sweater and get ready for round 2 of AR MeetUps!
This past September we had over 300 members gathering around the country, Canada too, sharing, laughing and connecting! A grand time was had and many were excited and asking for the next one.
We all spend so many hours in the 'Rain getting to know one another and learning from each other. The MeetUps take that relationship, add a scoop of sugar and a pinch of salt and push it to the next level by putting a face, hug or handshake to it. Networking, learning and sharing are basic fundamentals of AR. Something special happens when you exercise these in person. To understand you must attend a MeetUp and see for yourself.
MeetUps will happen in a restaurant, lounge or another venue in your area; a relaxed environment to host AR members, friends and colleagues. Anybody involved in the real estate community is invited and urged to attend. Everyone is on their own for food and drinks so the host is not asked of too much except organizing.
With RainCamp kicking off December 14th, AR MeetUps will happen anytime between December 12th through the 16th. I'll even put 1000 points in your stocking if you attend! Let's get together and share how to make 2012 a wildly successful year!
All members interested in hosting please email kerrie@activerain.com the venue name, address and date/time. A separate post will go out with all MeetUp locations. Once the MeetUps are complete, I'll ask the hosts to please email the usernames of all attendees and pictures too! I'd like to compile another slide-show to share with the AR Community.
I know many are so busy with the holidays and other commitments but this is very important and I ask you to do your very best to attend. Our Community deserves a get together here and there and I'm depending upon you to make this dream a reality.
Let it Rain, Let it Snow, Let's Get Together!!
