Olson-Kundig designed Art Stable Wins Prestigious Architecture Award

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Ewing and Clark

It's not every day that a property receives an architecture award. But the Art Stable, an Olson-Kundig designed live/work loft building, received an Honor Award for design excellence from the 2011 American Institute of Architects of Seattle. The Art Stable was one of four architecture projects in the state of Washington that received the award. I'm proud that my company, Ewing and Clark, is able to represent the award-winning property. Transformed from a previous horse stable, the Art Stable boasts gorgeous 11-ft floor-to-ceiling windows, fantastic for catching sunset views across the South Lake Union neighborhood. Designed by Tom Kundig, the customizable units feature an avant-garde, industrial theme to fits its South Lake Union setting. Additionally, it has a wonderful sustainable aspect, with environmental heating, an electric car hook up, and the potential accommodate solar technology.
