I just attended a very happy settlement for 4132 41st Street North in Arlington, VA - Just Sold for $940,000. This was a very special home, unlike most in the area. Located on the last street in the county before the Chain Bridge, it was a very private location and nicely maintained and updated home. It took some time to sell it because it was not the "typical Arlington colonial" but the right buyers found it and my sellers were thrilled to see it convey to them. Unique houses do sometimes attract like people, and at the settlement table we discovered that both the female seller and buyer were born in the same hospital - not locally!
These sellers were wonderful people to work with - followed my advice on staging, were reasonable with price expectations and this house closed without a hitch. An excellent cooperative selling agent and buyers made the process smooth as well. Congratulations to all!
