The world of tech start-up is exciting, thrilling and, of course, hectic at times. But when you're confident you have something different, something amazing, it brings meaning to each day you work.
Patrick Gray and Todd Drowletter, our founders, met as college roommates. Patrick went on to work in commercial real estate and quickly realized a need for a more cost-effective way of marketing and finding properties. There were sites out there, but they weren't perfect. This is where Todd, the tech brains of the operation, stepped in. Through long hours and hard work, they created MoveThatBlock.com. Soon after, they brought on a team to help make the site a long-lasting reality (which is where I came in).
MoveThatBlock.com is a site that allows you to post online classifieds - commercial real estate listings, apartments for rent, cars for sale, job listings, vacation rentals, online dating - at absolutely no cost. It's 100% free to post and to search.
By adding multiple categories, it allowed all users to benefit from dynamic cross traffic that niche only sites do not provide. Our custom features are easy to use and allow simple searching and posting in an uncluttered environment.
I feel that everything we do here at MoveThatBlock.com is focused on innovation. We work to bring quality and custom features to our site to make it easier to use and to have a one-stop shop for our users and visitors.
With so many sites out there, we have to be unique in order to stand out from the crowd. I believe it's our strong foundation and innovative ideas that helps us do this.
