People enjoy living in Hobble Creek subdivision in West Boise because it is well situated to get to work at Hewlett Packard's facilities in West Boise on Chinden Blvd. as well as an easy commute into downtown Boise, for work or recreation.  The muture landscaping and trees offer an established feeling to the subdivision as you drive in.  The homes are well cared for and the schools and shopping are all nearby.

During the football season you might see Boise State Broncos flags flying in support of the local college team.  They have Christmas light contests and Easter egg hunts, and is a very family-friendly area.  Often the soccer teams practice at the Hobble Creek Park which is adjacent to the elementary school.

The schools that serve the subdivision are Cecil D. Andrus Elementary (named after former Governor Cecil D. Andrus) and Lowell Scott Middle school (located at the northeast corner of Eagle Rd. and McMillan Rd.) and Centennial High School (located at the northwest corner of Cloverdale Rd. and McMillan Rd.).  So, within one square mile you have access to all levels of education from kindergarten to high school.

The flood zone panel in 16001 C0161H and it is dated February 19, 2003 and shows the subdivision in Code X, and so requires no flood insurance.
