The 25th Infantry Division, the historic Tropic Lightning Divison at Schofield Barracks will again be saying good-bye to one of their Combat Brigades.  The 2nd Brigade of the 25th Infantry Divison also known as the Stryker Brigade, will be deploying to Iraq over the next month.

The 3rd Brigade of the 25th Infantry Division which includes 3-7 Field Artillery, 2-35 Infantry, 2-27 Infantry, 3-4 Cavalry, 3rd BSTB and 325 BSB just recently returned after doing a 15 month tour in Iraq.

Since the war on terror began, units from Schofield Barracks have participated in the fight not only in Iraq but also in Afghanistan.

Our thoughts remain with these fighting men and women as they protect our freedoms we enjoy every day in America.  As we sleep, eat, work and play in peace, we will be forever grateful to these warriors for allowing us to the opportunity to do so.

Aloha Soldiers and we look forward to seeing the units begin their arrival back to Hawaii in 2009.

Kealakamaile-I usually delete entries from non-members but I cant do that to you.  Thanks for your words to the Soldiers of the Tropic Lightning Division.  Aloha Bruddah.
