The irony is; I was at a consult this afternoon and the builder called me on my cell. I was alone in the room so like an idiot I picked it up and he starts in on 'Why hasn't this house sold? Do we need to repaint? Can you come over' etc. I said I might have a few suggestions (like painting the back wall of that wall unit a lighter colour) but I'd have to call him back because I was with clients. Not 10 minutes later my furniture guy calls me, then texts me. I let it go to vm and not until I get in the car hours later do I find out he was calling to tell me someone had walked in minutes after I'd talked to the builder and placed an offer! All I had to do was say I was gonna go down there... :D

BB, I think we still have to educate home owners. People still think: their homes are 'good enough' and they 'don't want to give them away' and 'why should I spend money on a home we're selling?' None of these thoughts are coming from people who have used Staging and seen what it can do, do education is still the key. Spread the word! :D

Jim (& Caliche), they did buy new furniture, we're putting the finishing touches on the condo tomorrow and then when it sells they'll ship their new buys to Vancouver where they're moving.
