Learning Can Be a Full-Time Job

Learning can be a full-time job, if you let it. Bexar County, According to the U. S. Census Bureau, contains 1,240 square miles. Most of my work is in Bexar County, but I occassionaly do business in adjacent counties.

Being a kid who grew up in the city, farm and ranch living is not something I know much about. So I'm always taking photos of things that I'm sure are mundane and ordinary to people who see it daily, but a real wonder to me. I suppose I'm the opposite of the Clampetts when they went to the big city (except I didn't hit oil, and even if I had, there'd be no mineral rights attached.)

Some of the things about which I learn have come in handy on unrelated projects. Something I learned about septic systems in Spring Branch was useful in helping me negotiate on a property near LaCoste.

Take this rig I saw in Medina County. This irrigation sprinkler system is a must have if you want to get crops to harvest. The lack of rain is pretty common in south Texas, so Mother Nature needs some help if the farmer want to have a profitable yield on farm land. This unit puts out a lot more water than you see on those in-town, home irrigation systems.

Live stock is another common sight on the road to someplace. Beef, dairy, and maybe even some rodeo performers in this herd. Well, maybe no rodeo in this group, but this small herd is less than an hour from downtown San Antonio. And there are lots of other live stock species in the area. I'm not looking to become an expert in all areas, but I can increase my knowledge to help clients find reputable contacts should they be needed.

you talkin to me?

If you are looking to find an area a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, give me a call, and let's see if we can find you the right place to hang your hat.

We make it right for you!

Is there any oil and gas in BVexar? I thought this was part of the oil patch. I bought an interest in a mall that included the minreal rights, because we thought we could develop some resources there.

I think we learn every day, Wayne.  And each deal we do teaches us something new.  Your obvious curiosity is an asset too.
