find the right homeWhen asked how I like being in the sales businessit only took a minute for me to respond.

“I am in the People, Networking and Information Business”. You see I do not consider myself a “SALES PERSON”; I do not actually SELL people on anything! I meet people; I share my knowledge of the market and the homes that are available in our area. I help them find a home that is right for them or help them find a buyer that is right for their home. I do nothowever SELL them on anything.

I have met with a few real estate agents that discuss certain SALES techniques. Like showing homes that will make the one they want to SELL look good at the end of their tours. Not what I would classify as a good long range plan.

I have yet to meet someone that does not want to do business with me for telling the truth, doing my best and working hard to help them find the right fit.

Well said.  I actually consider myself to be in the real estate consulting business that predominately focuses on helping sellers market their property so the right buyer can find it.
