Emerald Isle NC - Bicylce Path Extensions
Information obtained from the City of Emerald Isle presentation to Emerald Isle NC Real Estate Professionals on March 16, 2012.
Currently, the Town of Emerald Isle has a total of 4.2 miles of dedicated bicycle path along NC 58. The bicycle path extends from Coast Guard Road to Hurst Drive, and also from Ocean Drive to Eastern Ocean Regional Access. The Town of Emerald Isle's goal is to extend the bicycle path from Hurst Drive to Ocean Drive and from Eastern Ocean Regional Access to Indian Beach town line in the future. The town of Emerald Isle also wants to extend the Bicylce Path on Coast Guard road to the Point in the future.
