Prayer for the Day - April 23, 2012

Dear God, You know how I love a sunny day! But I want to also thank you for rainy days that replenish the earth and clean the atmosphere. Likewise, I love the sunny, happy times of life. But I want to thank you for the rainy days that draw me closer to you and give me a new perspective and renewed trust in you. I pray for balance in the weather and balance in my life. Please bless me according to your will; guide and direct, protect and carry me through this journey on earth. Please forgive me of sin and cleanse me anew today, that this day I will be pleasing to you. Thank you in the name of Jesus, amen
