It certainly pays to shop around.

I am a firm beliver in shopping around. One of my current clients needed hazard insurance. As always I advised her to get at least 3 to 4 quotes. I gave her two phone numbers and a third company name to start. What she found was amazing there was a one thousand dollar difference between the highest and lowest quote for the same coverage (3600/2600).  Both written through the state plan just two different agencies. Goes to show everyone that indeed it pays to shop around!
