Can it get any better than this?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker United East Texas Division

I know if you are reading this and you have read my two previous blogs that you must be thinking...here's another brand new real estate agent....all fired up and ready to go!  I hope that after that thought.. doesn't come the thought....she'll calm down eventually!  HA!  I hope I never lose the excitement I'm feeling right now.  The anticipation of making the first sale and taking it to closing.  The excitement of meeting new people and telling them what I do.  The thrill of watching a family or person's face as they realize they have just completed a big step in their life.  The ability to know that you have helped someone realize a dream.  Wow!  Can it get any better than this?  I know that out there lurks a parade rainer.  But I feel like Mary Tyler Moore when she throws her hat up in the air in down Minneapolis.....you know the Mary Tyler Moore Show from the 70's.  I'm so glad I have found Activerain.  A community for me!

Now see - if I respond to the MTM comment I am dating myself - but congrats on the great attitude! It can and will make you a successfull agent - people who love what the do and are excited about it rarely fail.

Anyway - we need more excitement in this industry - so have at it.

Your enthusiasm will make you successful.  If you haven't read it, I would highly recommend "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent."  It will walk you through these early days.  You gotte get a business plan and marketing plan together.  Get your picture loaded on AR and get your profile built.  Be your own brand and success will find you!

Unrelated to our industry, but a great read is "The Strangest Secret."  It's published by Simple Truths.

Here's to a GREAT '08!

Be of service!  The rewards will come!
