Welcome to Aaron Estates in Monroe, New York.
This community was built in 1981. It consists of three level townhouses. These townhouses are about 1800 square feet and when the basements are finished they are about 2500 square feet.
The townhouses have 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths.
The townhouses have garages for 1 car and parking in front of the garage, too. The townhouses are on a circle and there is additional parking in the center of the community.
Many townhouses have been renovated and have updated kitchens and baths. The units are light and bright and spacious.
The first floor has a living room, dining room, eat-in-kitchen, and half bath. The laundry room is either on this floor or the basement.
The second floor has a master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, and two full baths.
If the basement is finished, it has a family room and sometimes an additional room and a laundry too.
Many of the townhouses have wooded views from the decks and patios.
As a pet lover I am happy to say that pets are allowed!
Between January 1, 2010 and the time of the writing of this article, two townhouses have sold, for $230,000 and $272,000 respectively.
At the time of the writing of this article, one townhouse is on the market and is being offered at $234,900.
Aaron Estates townhouses is convenient for commuters going into New York City. There are buses close by to take you into the Port Authority of New York at 41st Street and 8th Avenue. There is also a train station in Harriman which is closeby, and takes commuters into either Secaucus or Hoboken, NJ. From there, you can take the Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH) trains to lower Manhattan or 34th Street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan. The commute into New York by public transportation is about 1 and 1/2 hours.
This community is also close to major highways, such as the NYS thruway (I-87), Route 17 and Route 17M.
It is very close to the wonderful Woodbury Commons Premier Outlet shopping mall and many other stores, including Walmart, TJMax, BJs, Target, and more!
