Radon Concerns

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Caron's Gateway Real Estate NH #054318

Q: My neighbor has a very high radon test; Will my home test high also?

A: Radon levels vary from neighborhood to neighborhood, from home to home, and from room to room within a home.  Radon levels also vary by location time of day and humidity levels.  Have your home tested and if necessary mitigate to correct the high levels..  Remember radon can not be eliminated but the levels can be reduced to safe with mitigation.

Q: Where can I get more information about radon?

A: Visit the You.S. Environmental Protection Agency website at:

http://www.EPA.gov/radon/

Good information Diane.  Radon is a common inspection issue in our market.
